Sally and Stu Freed have enjoyed (and survived) many life transitions, having been married for 36 years. Born and raised in North Central Washington, Wenatchee has been their home for 25 years. They have two grown daughters, Ellyn and Abbey. Changing Seasons is their first ‘professional’ retreat collaboration, a milestone marking an exciting transition in their own shared life journeys.

Sally Freed

Sally is a professional retreat and workshop facilitator, with a passion for cultivating environments where people can safely explore and discover new understandings about themselves. Participants have expressed their appreciation for both playfulness and deep nurturing in Sally's retreats and workshops. She has several years of retreat leadership experience working with educational and spiritual communities, as well as corporate and non-profit organizations throughout the Pacific Northwest, and has led several SoulCollage® retreats in Great Britain.

Sally received her MA in Pastoral Studies from Seattle University School of Theology and Ministry in 2013. Sally is a trained SoulCollage® facilitator and will receive her certification from the Adelynrood School of Spiritual Direction in August 2019.

 

STUART FREED M.D.

Stu is the Chief Medical Officer for Confluence Health, an integrated healthcare system in North Central Washington state. Under his leadership, the organization has become one of the area’s major medical providers. He is also the Chief Medical Officer for Wenatchee Valley Medical Group. Stu is also an Executive Coach, certified by the UC Berkeley Executive Coaching Institute.

Stu is a member of the Dr. Robert Bree Collaborative and the AMGA CMO Leadership Council. He has held seats on the board of trustees of the Washington State Medical Association and the board of directors of Wenatchee Valley Medical Center, where he is a past Vice Chairman. He received the 2015 Seattle Business Journal Leaders in Health Care Award for Outstanding Medical Director/Officer and the 2010 Washington State Athletic Trainers’ Association Physician Award. He is most proud to be a father and friend of two beautiful daughters, Ellyn and Abbey.
