The Art & Soul of Community: A Weekend SoulCollage® Exploration

Let’s face it, we need each other! Join SoulCollage® facilitators Laurie Smith and Sally Freed for a joyful and inspiring weekend, exploring community in its many forms at the beautiful St. Andrew’s House Retreat and Conference Center on Hood Canal in South Puget Sound.

Each of us has a unique constellation of communities we belong to – groups, friends, and family. Seena Frost, the founder of SoulCollage®, wrote that members of our community are “those beings that impact our personal story with their special energy”.  Knowing this, we remember that we are supported not only by the obvious groups and people, but also by an unseen community of ancestors, online groups, mentors, spiritual teachers, special locations, famous people, pets – alive either in the world, or in our hearts. We’ll also explore the shadow side of our topic – communities can lead to feelings of exclusion, or painful endings.

Through the process of SoulCollage®, we will make collaged cards to reflect, name and honor the special connections that have shaped our lives.  No experience, or artistic talent, is required for this fun and meaningful modality – we’ll guide you and provide all supplies.  Beginners are warmly welcomed!

Your retreat weekend includes great conversation, delicious chef-prepared meals, cozy and peaceful lodging, ample free time and space for rest and personal reflection, and a beautiful retreat setting. For more information about St. Andrew’s House Retreat and Conference Center visit www.saintandrewshouse.org

Our time together will deepen your appreciation of community and help you discover the richness of your own beloved communities.

The retreat fee is all-inclusive:  two nights lodging, six delicious meals, and all SoulCollage® supplies and instruction, as well as other retreat materials and activities.

Space is limited to 15 Guests. All are welcome, age 18+ please.
