Like a River Unfolding: A Women’s Retreat

  • Grunewald Guild 19003 River Rd Leavenworth, WA (map)

"I would love to live like a river flows, carried by the surprise of its own unfolding."
– John O'Donohue

Rivers are powerful metaphors for the flow and current of our lives.  With the early spring run of the beautiful Wenatchee River as our companion and witness, we will spend a weekend in soulful community to reflect on our own life’s unfolding.

The deep wisdom of Irish author John O’Donohue and others will inform our exploration. What might be hidden in the depths, waiting to emerge? How might we navigate both the dry and flood stages of our lives?  We will explore this journey together through ritual, conversation, creativity and rest.

Retreat participants will enjoy making personal collaged cards using the simple, yet profound technique of SoulCollage®, a unique artistic and creative process developed by and presented in Seena B. Frost's book, SoulCollage Evolving.  Beginners are warmly welcomed: no artistic experience is necessary for this enjoyable and meaningful process! For those with some experience, we'll deepen our understanding of the four "suits" in a SoulCollage® deck.  For additional information, visit SoulCollage.com.
