Being Peace: A Women’s SoulCollage® Retreat featuring the wisdom and writings of Thich Nhat Hanh

  • Grünewald Guild 19003 River Road Leavenworth, WA, 98826 United States (map)

"Walk in peace."
"Go in peace."
"Peace be with you."

Many of us are familiar with these simple phrases, often shared in settings where people gather to worship, meditate or pray. But what might it mean for us to “be peace”?

Join me at the Grünewald Guild for a weekend retreat where we will explore how "being peace" might be uniquely revealed to us, especially during times of conflict and unrest.

We’ll practice being peace by listening deeply, to ourselves and to one another, through both silence and conversation. We’ll share the gift and challenge of ‘pausing’ before speaking, acting or reacting.

We’ll also practice being peace through the simple, yet profound and creative process known as SoulCollage®, one that invites us into ‘quiet time’ and encourages trust in our own intuition and deep wisdom.

Foundational to our weekend’s activities, we’ll reflect upon selections from Being Peace and How to Walk, written by the Buddhist monk and teacher, Thich Nhat Hanh. His wisdom will serve as a source of inspiration and gentle guidance on our "being peace" journey.

Bring your mother, your sister, your aunt, your cousin, your daughter, your spouse, your friend. Join us for a weekend of relaxation, fun and compassionate dialogue. Open to women of all backgrounds and faith traditions (or no tradition at all). Ages 14 and
above. Space is limited to 15 guests.

Cost:
$225/person for shared room
$275/person for private room
